MIKE HARRIS

Mike Harris, Director of Human Resources for EduCare of Texas, began his career at EduCare in 1994, in the Human Resources department. With over 13 year’s experience, Mike manages all aspects of employee relations and drives continuous improvement in HR policy, practice and process. Mike leads a dedicated team of 17 state-wide Human Resources Representatives to ensure quality customer service for EduCare of Texas’s approximately 3200 Texas employees.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management and a minor in Psychology from Abilene Christian University. He also earned a Human Resources Certification from the University of Texas in Austin.

Mike lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife, Lara, and their two children, Coleton and Kirsten.
Mike, a native Texan, enjoys hunting and fishing in the Texas Hill Country and spending quality time with his family riding ATV’s and exploring the great outdoors.
