Julie Reding graduated from Radford University, Radford, Virginia with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders. She began her
career at the Southwest Center for the Hearing Impaired, first as an
Interpreter Coordinator and then as a Certified Vocational Evaluator.
As a Vocational Evaluator, Julie assessed the vocational needs and abilities
of persons with hearing impairments. She then worked as a Vocational
Evaluator to persons with mental retardation at the San Antonio State
School. Julie joined EduCare of Texas in 1992 and currently serves as
the Regional Director for Alternative Business Services, the vocational
division of EduCare of Texas. In this position, she manages the business
component of 24 vocational sites throughout Texas.
