ROSIE FLORES

Rosie Flores has over 15 years of experience in the mental retardation /developmental disabilities field. After graduating from Texas Woman’s University in 1979, she began her career at a large Intermediate Care Facility in Brownsville, Texas, her hometown. There she held a wide range of positions, including QMRP.

In 1984, Rosie married and moved away with her husband, taking a break from her career to be a full time stay-at-home mom.

Rosie returned to the field and in 1992 became the QMRP of EduCare’s ICF Program in Harlingen, Texas. In 2004, Rosie accepted the position of Executive Director for EduCare of Texas’ Valley/El Paso operations. The Valley operation includes 5 ICF 6-bed homes, two HCS Programs, with a total of 10 group homes, a Texas Home Living Program, and CLASS. The El Paso operation includes an HCS Program with 5 group homes, a Texas Home Living Program and CLASS.
