Julie RedingEduCare of Texas announces the expansion of Austin’s Alternative Business Services embroidery center. The center is one of 24 full service day habilitation and vocational training centers operated by EduCare of Texas.

“Since opening our doors in 1998, we have grown to 24 day programs in Texas,” states Julie Reding, Regional Director of Alternative Business Services. “We believe that work is more than a wage. . .we believe that work promotes dignity, validates one’s own sense of worth, and is a way to help people move from dependence to independence. We assist individuals with disabilities to reach their vocational/avocational goals by providing supports in the areas of social day activities, work hardening, and non-integrated employment training, in addition to, enclave employment, job coaching, and competitive employment services.”

ABS printing center“Our screen printing center in Harlingen and our printing services in Lubbock compliment our Austin embroidery center. We can print a civic organization’s invitation, embroider a company’s t-shirt, or screen print a sports team’s jersey. We provide exceptional quality at great prices, but most importantly, our customers help change lives by purchasing from Alternative Business Services,” explains Ms. Reding.
